Dr. Irish Pugao started taking piano lessons in the first grade and continued with piano lessons until her senior year in high school. She has been a church pianist since grade school and has accompanied choirs since high school. She also took violin lessons for several years. She has previously taught private piano lessons. She has recently started to learn how to play the ukulele. She continues to be active in the music department of her local Seventh-day Adventist church. This will be her third year teaching music at EPAJA.
Message from Irish Pugao:
I believe in the thoughts of Mrs. White when she said that “Music…rightly employed, it is a precious gift of God, designed to uplift the thoughts to high and noble themes, to inspire and elevate the soul…. Indeed, many a song is prayer.”
